Morning

Forward compartment

HMNoS Utsira Routine goes on, we stay in our beds, some play station / movies. Atmosphere stable, CO2 and oxygen levels are within limits. Some of the crew is starting to get a cold. Geofjord, a Norwegian vessel chartered by UK Navy as the mother ship for the British rescue submarine LR5, will deliver a POD later today ( a POD is a water/pressure proof container used to deliver supplies to distressed submarines).

Aft compartment

Yesterday we received antibiotics for 2 crewmembers via POD from HNOMS Tyr. They have not responded to the medicine as expected and will be evacuated by the Swedish rescue submarine URF later today. We have sent request for pizza and entertainment to Belos, the mother ship of URF on the underwater telephone.

Noon

Forward compartment

No new information from the submarine, but Geofjord confirmed delivery of POD containing newspapers and cake to the forward compartment. Due to the experiment, and daily intake of 1kJ (emergency rations) the supervisors of the experiment (also participating) may not give permission to eat the cake.

Aft compartment

The URF connected to the rescue hatch, and the chef from Belos served pizza to all crewmembers in the aft compartment, a good change from the emergency rations we have eaten while down here. The request for entertainment gave us the famous Belos “GO GO Girl”, a rescue doll dressed in sexy underwear. The two crewmembers with infections were evacuated when URF disconnected and returned to the surface. The Geofjord has reported two matings between Utsira and LR5, and POD delivery in the afternoon.
