Situation report from Norwegian submarine Utsira at the bottom of Kattegat day 3, May 24th

Survivex is continuing in the forward compartment after 2 days in complete darkness, it is good to have the lights on! We are mostly just lying in the beds to reduce activity, and to preserve oxygen. But at least we had a race on a car game at the play station. Not everyone is feeling good, long time in low oxygen atmosphere has an effect on the mood.

The camping continues in the aft section, beds, toilets and the galley is in the forward compartment, and is out of range. We have to manage in a rather primitive way.  Today we are celebrating the BIG wedding of Princess Martha and Ari in Norway. HNoMS Utsira sends her regards, and best wishes.

The press centre received an e-mail to one of the crew yesterday, and it was passed to HNoMS Tyr which put it in a pressure resistant container (POD) and delivered it to the submarine. When we opened the container back on the surface, there was a note to send best wishes back.
