HSwMS BELOS HOSTS OBSERVERS DURING EXERCISE.
NATO PfP nation Sweden provides submarine rescue training.
KATTEGAT, OFF THE FREDERIKSHAVN COAST - Observers from three nations boarded the Danish Navy ship HDMS HAVKATTEN to join HSwMS Belos.Medical teams held a surface rescue training scenario onboard BELOS throughout the day.Belos was operating with a Swedish Sea Knight helicopter from it's flight deck.SOR02 is not the first NATO submarine rescue exercise the BELOS has participated in. The ship also participated in SR in Norway in 1996.
